Business on MASSOLIT

We’re delighted to announce that Business has launched on MASSOLIT!

This subject launches with 19 courses covering key topics for A Level Business which have been designed alongside the OCR, AQA, Edexcel, and Cambridge International specifications. Here are some highlights:

• Marketing Analysis – explores marketing analysis, covering the marketing mix—product, price, place, and promotion—with a focus on pricing, profit, advertising elasticity, and distribution channels.
• Human Resources: The Recruitment and Selection Process – this course covers the recruitment and selection process, exploring role definition, employer branding, contemporary challenges like AI, influencing factors, and selection methods while addressing potential biases.
• The Accounting Equation – explores key accounting concepts, including financial statements, the extended accounting equation, and the double-entry bookkeeping system, highlighting how profits and losses affect equity.

A further 10 courses will be added to this collection in the coming months, covering topics such as marketing strategy, strategic decision making, and motivation theories.

Meet some of our expert academics

Prof. Paul Baines – Senior Lecturer of Political Marketing at University of Leicester. His research focuses on political marketing, specifically the use of marketing in a political context.

Dr Chris McLachlan – Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Queen Mary University of London. His research focuses on the consequences of deindustrialization and organisational restructuring for affected workers and communities.

Prof. Jaideep Prabu – Jawaharlal Nehru Professor of Indian Business and Enterprise at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. His research focuses on innovation, marketing, international business, strategy, policy and development.
